Thales Trusted Cyber Technologies (TCT), a trusted, U.S. based source for cyber security solutions, today announced the appointment of Gina Scinta as the company’s Deputy Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As Deputy CTO, Ms. Scinta will serve as Thales TCT’s technology evangelist. Her mission is to help Thales TCT’s U.S. Federal Government customers learn effective ways to solve their mission critical cyber security challenges.
Ms. Scinta has spent over 30 years in the technology community. Prior to joining Thales TCT, Ms. Scinta spent the last decade with SafeNet, Inc./Gemalto (now Thales Digital Identity & Security)—most recently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect. In this role, she served as a trusted advisor and architected data protection solutions to help her customers’ address compliance requirements and mitigate security risks from the cloud to the data center.
Ms. Scinta started her career in technology in support of the U.S. Department of Defense where she served as a subject matter expert for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of Intelligence Data Handling Systems that supported Targets, Imagery, Insurgent Forces and Ground/Air Order of Battle analysts in the Pacific Command (PACOM).
