Thales Trusted Cyber Technologies Launch Announcement

As of January 1, 2020, SafeNet Assured Technologies, LLC. and Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing, Federal will unite under a new name as Thales Trusted Cyber Technologies (TCT), a division of Thales Defense and Security Inc. (TDSI). TDSI is a long-established U.S proxy company of Thales Group. As part of the TDSI Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) proxy, TCT will continue to be protected from Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI). TCT will also be governed by the Committee for Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) National Security Agreement (NSA) established with SafeNet Assured Technologies, which provides further FOCI mitigation to the products and services provided to its customers.

TCT serves as a trusted, U.S. based source for cyber security solutions. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions to protect the most vital data from the core to the cloud to the field for defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies across the U.S. Federal Government. With a concentration on agency requirements, TCT is better able to serve its government customers while also investing in the development of future technologies to secure the Federal Government’s most sensitive information.

We offer a broad data protection portfolio specifically focused on U.S. Federal agency requirements for protecting mission critical data in data centers, cloud environments, and field deployments:

  • Cryptographic Key Management solutions that protect and manage cryptographic keys throughout their lifecycle
  • Data Encryption solutions that encrypt data-at-rest and in-motion from the core to the edge
  • Authentication solutions that secure access to sensitive data and networks

TCT will offer best-of-breed solutions to our U.S. Federal customers. From our core solutions developed specifically for the government to Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing commercial-off-the-shelf solutions we sell and support, our offerings address the most stringent federal requirements.

TCT follows a rigid supply chain risk mitigation process that includes a Vendor Approval Process prohibiting the use of tainted or counterfeit components. TCT maintains all government approvals and certifications for products required by U.S. Federal agencies. All of our employees are U.S. citizens and our support team is fully cleared to support levels 1-3.

Lastly, the SafeNet Assured Technologies, LLC legal entity will remain in place. All employees will adhere to the policies and procedures set and specified in the CFIUS NSA established on September 4, 2018 with the Department of Justice, Department of Defense, and CFIUS monitoring agency.
