CN9000 Series Ethernet Encryptors Deliver Proven Security and Maximum Performance for Defense Agencies
November 27, 2018 Abingdon, MD: SafeNet Assured Technologies, LLC, a trusted U.S. based source for cyber security solutions, today announced that it has received United States Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DoDIN APL) Approval for the CN9000 Series High Speed Encryptors.
The CN9000 series is the first commercially available high assurance 100 Gbps Ethernet Encryptor that supports all topology use cases without compromising bandwidth performance. The CN9000 series is available in two models providing optimal transceiver interfaces: CN9120 (QSFP28) and CN9100 (SFP4). The CN9100 and CN9120 Ethernet encryptors appear on the DoDIN APL list as Fixed Network Elements.
The DoDIN APL, maintained by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), outlines the products that have been certified for use on Department of Defense networks. DoDIN APL certification effectively gives listed products DISA’s seal of approval and signifies the products have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification. This certification is also meaningful to intelligence and civilian government agencies.
“Receiving DoDIN APL approval allows our Department of Defense customers access to some of the most advanced high speed encryption technology on the market today,” says Kirk Spring, President, SafeNet Assured Technologies. “The CN9000 series is ideally suited to encrypt provider networks, data center interconnect, and disaster recovery links, whether the WAN is a simple point-to-point network or highly complex, multi-point-to-multi-point, fully meshed network,” says Spring. “These encryptors provide maximum security without compromising network performance while offering more flexibility over conventional MACsec-based products”
The CN9000 series joins the list of the previously approved CN Series Ethernet Encryptors including:
The CN9000 series is compatible with all other CN series encryptors on the DoDIN APL. For more information on the CN9000 series, visit www.safenetat.com/cn9000.
